Since 2020 · Scandinavia
It started by accident,
and somehow turned into something we couldn’t ignore.
Redwood didn’t start with a business plan, a strategy deck, or a five-year roadmap.
It started with a simple idea: make better gear.
At first, it was just curiosity. Testing materials. Tweaking designs. Asking “why is this made like that?” one too many times. One product led to another. Small improvements turned into real solutions. And somewhere along the way, we realized something unexpected: we were actually pretty good at this.
So we kept going.
Redwood is built on that mindset: question everything, keep what works, and refine what doesn’t. No unnecessary features. No overcomplication. Just gear designed to do its job. And do it well.
What started by accident became a direction. And now, it’s what drives everything we make.

Chosen carefully
Bad materials always reveal themselves too late.
A lot of outdoor gear looks great when it’s new. The real test comes later: when coatings wear off, fabrics break down, seams fail, or components stop doing their job.
That’s why material choice matters.
At Redwood, we focus on durability where it actually counts: fabrics that can handle abrasion, coatings that hold up over time, and components built for repeated use in changing conditions. We pay attention to the details most people only notice once they fail, because those are often what define how long gear really lasts.
We don’t choose materials to impress. We choose them to perform.
